AI Filmmaking:
Since 2024 Esther Gronenborn’s artistic practice has focused extensively on AI-driven filmmaking, video installations, and hybrid image creation. Working with generative video models, AI-assisted visual workflows, digital collage, and synthetic voice technologies, she develops cinematic works that investigate perception, authorship, memory, and the shifting boundaries between reality and fabrication. Her AI-based works have been presented internationally at festivals, exhibitions, and media art platforms, including the Odyssee Project, Labirynt Festival for New Art, KUKAV AnimationInstallation, RBSA Summer Show, Toolip Art Gallery Vienna, and the Saatchi Gallery London. Alongside her artistic work, she actively engages in discussions about the future of AI in filmmaking, creative workflows, ethics, and the transformation of visual culture through machine-generated imagery. Gronenborn regularly gives workshops, lectures, and keynote talks on AI filmmaking and generative storytelling for film institutions, academies, and industry organizations.
